Listening

Listening
Drawn conversations in a growing network for plurality.
A project by Simona Koch and Lilla von Puttkamer
Project presentation 19 February 2026, 6 p.m. at Meta House Phnom Penh
Talk at Meta House Phnom Penh 24 February 2026, 6:30 p.m., with some of the conversation partners of the project.
“Listening” is an artistic and social project that promotes plurality and democratic values. It began in Cambodia in 2026. The focus is on listening: conversations with changemakers, artists, and thinkers were translated into drawings. This analog practice creates deceleration, opens up spaces for dialogue, and enables immediate encounters beyond social barriers. The exhibition at Meta House Phnom Penh displays the publication resulting from the project, together with insights from the interviews with our conversation partners.
The project is designed as an ongoing process that will be continued internationally with further conversations, adding new pages to the publication.
